Japanese whetstone in grit 1000-3000 for sharpening and sharpening your chisels and planer blades. Use grit 1000 for re-sharpening and grit 3000 to sharpen the blade again in order to fully enjoy your sharp chisel. Use the stone with enough water for a smooth grinding experience and let the stone soak for 5 minutes. The grinding residue can easily be rinsed away under the tap.
