All prices listed on our website are including VAT 21%. If you have a business outside The Netherlands but inside the EU, you don't have to pay tax. All you have to do is to register and enter your VAT number. It will automatically be checked if your number is valid. When you login, all the prices are without VAT 21%.

How much is shipping?

We will always look for the best deal on shipping your order. We'll ship with PostNL. Shipping within The Netherlands is €7,50 up to 10 Kg., €12,50 up to 30 Kg. Smaller items ship in a bubble envelope and cost €4,50.

Customers from Belgium and Germany pay €9,50 up to 30Kg.

What different types of payment do you offer?

You can pay on many ways so there's always a method which you prefer. You can pay with iDeal, PayPal or wiring the money. More info click here....

What do the different order statuses mean?

We will keep you well informed when you place an order with us. You will receive emails with the status of your order and your data. If there is something wrong with your data, please notify us immediately so that we can adjust it for you. We use the following order statuses and more information can be found in 'My account':

Payment accepted - Your order was successful and your payment was also successful
Waiting for payment - Your order was successful and you have chosen 'bank transfer' and we are waiting for your payment
Canceled - We canceled your order for you or did it yourself.
Currently under preparation - We are packing your order and have created a shipping label
Shipped - Your order is packed and ready to ship
Received by PostNL - Your order has been shipped and is currently in the PostNL distribution center. From now on, you can track your package with the Track & Trace code
Delivered - Your package has been delivered to your home and wishes you a lot of fun with your order

Do you ship fast?

We try to ship the same day when you place your order before 16:00 hours! It may occur that a product isn't in stock. In that case we will contact you about the delay and when the order will be shipped.

We always try to send the order the same day. Ordered before 16:00, shipped the same day! Of course it can happen that an article is not in stock. You will then be notified with an estimate of how long it will take before your order will be shipped. Items which needs some handling, such as sanding to thickness, can take a day longer before your order is shipped. For more information click here ....

Is the stock up-to-date?

We try to keep stocks as up to date as possible, but it is possible that an item is not in stock after all. In that case we will inform you of the delivery time as soon as possible. If an item is not in stock, you cannot order it. You can leave your e-mail address so we can notify you as soon as an item is back in stock.

Some items are not in stock, but you can order them. It may be that these items are sent to you directly from our supplier or that an item is ordered especially for you. The expected delivery time is then stated and the text is in green.

In stock - The item is in stock and will be shipped the same day.
Out of stock - The item is out of stock.

What do i do when i receive the wrong item or the item is damaged?

When your item is damaged of the wrong item has been delivered, please contact us by email or telephone. We'll try to solve the issue as soon as possible.

To inform Gitaarbouwwinkel about a return:

Access the "Orders history" section of your account by going to "My Account" page.
Select the order from which you want to return an item by clicking on "Details".
Select the product(s) that you wishes to return by checking the box next to its name(s).
Add the quantity that needs to be returned (in case more than one product need to be returned).
(optional) In the "Merchandise return" section, add an explanation, in order for the shop team to better understand why the customer wants to return this product.
Click on "Request a return".

We will receive a notification of your return and will email you with further instructions.

Can i pick-up my order?

Yes, you can pick your order up here in Strijen. Please make an appointment to make sure your order is complete and ready for pick up.
